This beautiful couple have spent some time in front of my camera before as about 2 years ago I photographed them down in Virginia wine country for their engagement session. This time though we met up on one of the coldest days of the year to document another milestone in their lives – expecting their first baby in just a few months! This mama and I also go way back – like freshman year dorm way back. Like sorority sisters, study abroad in Australia friends, guests at my wedding in Jamaica, me going to their wedding while my own baby was 3 weeks old type friends. To say I was excited to photograph this amazing moment in their lives was an understatement. The fact we planned it for the coldest day I’ve ever shot on – classic move. Just as I anticipated they rocked it out of the park. Their clothes were adorable, they are so in love and excited to meet their new baby, and were troopers even when I made them sit in snow. The freshly fallen snow made for a peaceful and perfect winter-wonderland, and Erin was absolutely glowing. This dad here is going to be one incredible father – he has a great sense of humor and loves and protects his family so much already. I cant wait to meet this sweet baby!!! Enjoy these sneak peeks!
