My sweet daughter turned 2 yesterday and today we filled our house with friends, family and lots and lots of frosting to celebrate. I love creating all the details for my kids’ parties – I have always loved entertaining but having kids and hosting their birthday parties has been something I look forward to every year. I love planning something personal to them – full of their favorite interests, foods, colors, and ideas. This party I wanted to incorporate Siena’s pretty singular love of the color purple, books, and princesses. I collaborated with my friends at Capitol Sweets to make the gorgeous cake, cupcakes and macarons, as well as Whimsical Zee for all of the beautiful banners. They made the party so much more special with the cute details. After her party I took her outside for a couple of photos to celebrate her big day, and I love her silly beautiful smile. Happy birthday baby girl – I love you more than you’ll ever know.
