Every year in the beginning of Fall I try to carve some time out before my busy season hits, to photograph my own two kiddos in a wildflower field. The idea of ‘photographer’s child syndrome’ where the kids HATE the camera hasnt really taken hold in our home – probably because I dont photograph them too often. When I do it’s usually in some beautiful spot in nature – by the ocean, in the cherry blossoms, amongst the fall foliage, or like these photos in a gorgeous wildflower field. These flowers were stunning and were calling to me to photograph for a few weeks when I finally found the perfect sunset and a day when my kids werent in an activity, and we headed over to the beautiful field. These two love eachother so much and are so kind to eachother – they really are the other’s best friend. I am so lucky to have two kids who are obsessed with eachother the way they are, and I love that I was able to capture them happy together in such a pretty spot. Enjoy these sneak peeks of this gorgeous field of wildflowers and my two lovelies.
