There is this local purple flower field that turns the most gorgeous shade of lavender every late Summer, and we are lucky enough to live just down the street. This field is like magic every year, and I look forward to seeing it bloom and shower us in stunning color. I photographed Siena in the flowers last year and was excited to photograph both of my kids in the field this year. These kids grow up so quickly which I know is a total cliche – but it’s really also so true. I have loved this stage of 6 and 4 years old so much more than I knew I would. They are independent, funny, smart and loving – such a great combination of characters and attributes. I love these two kidletts and loved photographing them in such a gorgeous location. Enjoy these sneak peeks of my two babies and this stunning purple wildflower field!
