Each year I tell myself this Christmas is the best ever, and each year I realize that nope, actually THIS year is the best ever. At ages 6 and 4, I’m pretty confident I’m in the sweet spot for so much in life as a parent, and celebrating the magic of the holidays is no different. These two make every day so special, but particularly watching Christmas play out through their eyes is just nothing short of magical. Watching them help pick out a tree (and argue over which one we are getting – no, not the 17 foot one…) and decorate our whole house has been so fun. Every year I take their photos in front of our tree, and this year was fun for me because I finally won out on where we put the tree and it is now in our foyer. This eliminates all the needles from falling down our air duct vents (yay!) and looks so nice next to our stairway. I cant believe they’re so grown up – love these two nuggets! Also posting a look through the past 5 years – amazing to see the side by side!
