There is not much cuter than a baby turning one, and this sweet pea takes the cake with his adorableness. We met up for his final session in his baby plan to photograph this amazing milestone with his parents and big brother, and also ended with a fabulous neutral cake smash. Cake smashes can be super sweet and beautiful with whites and creams and minimal decor – so the focus stays on baby’s sweet face and his expressions. This sweet baby boy I began photographing as a tiny newborn, then again for his six month session, and now again for his first year cake smash session. We did a mix of family images in my new studio on our family couch, with the prettiest light streaming through the window. For sibling images we did most in front of the cake – because why not?! Both brothers took turns munching on cake and sharing tastes. I photographed adorable big brother R for his first year too and it’s been so fun watching them both grow up together. So much changes over the first year that baby plan photo sessions are always some of my favorites. I have loved watching this beautiful family grow and watching sweet baby M become such a funny, adorable, beautiful one year old! His mama brought the most beautiful semi-naked cake and it looked amazing with the gold and white balloons and little ‘one’ sign. Baby M was a bit unsure of the regular family photos portion of the session but as soon as the cake came out he was hooked! I loved seeing this family again and am excited to share his sneak peeks with you all! Enjoy!
