I was so excited to photograph little miss C’s 1st birthday session since A) she’s the dear daughter of my friends and B) they were combining the session with an extended family session to make some truly special portraits. Everyone’s outfits were totally stunning and perfect for the Spring blossom season, and this precious Spring baby girl. Her birthday theme was Peter Rabbit and Spring, which was perfect timing since the blossoms were all blooming outside. Her cake was a cherry blossom theme – and it was absolutely perfect. This sweet baby girl I began photographing as a tiny newborn, and she’s always been picture perfect.
We did a mix of family images outside in beautiful Baker Park in Frederick, with gorgeous light and blooming flowering trees. For sibling images we did some in front of the cake – because both kids were into it! Miss C was like many 1 year olds, and totally wanted nothing to do with smashing her cake by herself, but once big brother dove into it she was more interested in joining in. Its been so amazing watching both of these kids grow and develop a bond together. I loved seeing this family again and am excited to share her sneak peeks with you all! Enjoy!
