This beautiful and sweet one year old absolutely stole my heart for her first birthday photosession. I first met her back a few months ago for her sitter session in my studio, so it was so fun to see how much she’s grown since then. She had some of the cutest little expressions I’ve ever seen on a child, flashing me the happiest smiles and little giggles, and she absolutely loved her cake. Her balloon was hilarious as it gave her this mixture of love/hate, and she would look around at it and cry for it but then when she got it she would scream at it and do a mix of laughing and crying. It was totally hilarious. She loved doing all sorts of funny things with her cake like sticking her foot in it and scooping up icing and taking little bites. She was absolutely beyond precious and I loved photographing her cake smash and one year old portraits. We did a little mix of formal beautiful portraits with pretty outfits and fun props, and then did some lifestyle cuddling and laughing images with mom and dad and the family. Loved all of them!
The first year is full of milestones and celebrations, and I love documenting this fleeting stage in a child’s life for the family to always look back at and admire. This family is so sweet and beautiful, it was such an honor photographing this amazing milestone for her! Enjoy these sneak peeks of this beautiful baby girl!
