This incredible family came to my downtown Frederick studio for their new baby boy’s newborn photo session, which made me super excited since I photographed big brother during his baby plan two years ago. I love photographing my baby plan families since I really get to know them over the year, and get to watch their families grow up in front of my camera is the best.
This sweetpea was picture perfect in every way – a total doll when I posed him in different props and set ups, and flashing me several smiles throughout the morning. I kept the session with mostly neutral tones which are my favorite, and added in touches of blue and tan to coordinate. He had the most beautiful lashes and lips, and looks so much like his mama. Big brother was as cute as can be too, with the most gorgeous hair and sweetest smile, and loved holding his baby brother and being tickled by his mamas. This amazing family was so patient and loving with both kids, and has made being parents to two young kiddos seem like a breeze.
I loved doing individual set ups with both moms, and capturing different light and angles and poses both in formal portraits and also candid lifestyle type images. I used a mix of natural light and studio lights and wanted to give them a blend of vibes for their family images as well as individual images with their new sweet baby boy. They were all just so perfect together and I loved photographing them as a new family of 4 and also just sweet baby G solo.
