This first birthday for this sweet boy was everything perfect about being 1! Full of smiles and laughs and energy and fun – he celebrated turning one in total epic happiness. His big beautiful sister was my perfect helper too, being an awesome big sister as well as helping him dig into his cake. This beautiful family was genuine and kind and loving and so happy together – they made my job of photographing their love super easy! I loved getting to meet them finally after about a year of talking about ideas for a session, and I was so happy the sunny fall weather was so perfect for them. We met up in downtown Frederick in Baker Park and had a great morning switching it up between the beautiful antique red covered bridge as well as the peaceful riverbank that runs through the park. I loved watching this little dude go hog wild on his cake – he had to be basically bathed down before putting him back in the car at the end. That is totally the best way to end a cake smash!
The first year is full of milestones and celebrations, and I love documenting this fleeting stage in a child’s life for the family to always look back at and admire. This family is so sweet and beautiful, it was such an honor photographing this amazing milestone for her! Enjoy these sneak peeks of this beautiful baby boy!
