My studio was built in 1790 (when Washington was president!) in historic Downtown Frederick, Maryland, which is less than 1 hour from the Washington, DC metro area. The 650 square foot space is full of vintage charm from pocket doors to a turn of the century fireplace, deep windowsills and tall ceilings - and crystal chandeliers! A coffee station and lounge area is available to relax in during your session, as well as charming Baker Park across the street for a mix of indoor and outside! The light is always lovely and you don't have to straighten up your home - win/win!
From the sun rising over the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC, to the flowering gardens that bloom from spring to fall in Maryland and Virginia, there are dozens of locations that can be the perfect backdrop for your family's photo session. We will work together to help you choose your family's perfect spot, and I can arrange the reservations and permit requirements when necessary.

First thing in the morning or 'golden hour' before sunset are my preferred times for outdoor locations.
Family sessions are typically 1 hour in length
Recommend booking in advance - weekend dates in particular book early!

- My studio is in the heart of downtown Frederick, Maryland - centrally located to Maryland, the Washington DC metro area and Northern Virginia. Once booked, you receive a Client Lounge website link with tons of information from location ideas, wardrobe inspiration, and a product gallery to view options available to create stunning artwork.
- An extensive client wardrobe is available to wear for moms, dads, children and babies. Inclusive sizes from XXS through 4X for dresses and mens shirts, and hundreds of beautifully crafted headbands, bonnets and outfits are available for kids. Brands like Free People, BHLDN, FillyBoo, Baltic Born, etc. are some of the designers you'll have available to use.
- Professional hair and makeup services are available to arrange to make your day effortless and elevated.
- Final artwork such as framed wall galleries, custom designed albums, birth announcements and more are all available to enjoy your images for years to come.

- Gorgeous hand picked dresses, sweaters and outfits for moms, photo perfect shirts for dads, and countless beautiful items for kids and babies.
- Optional add on services are available for professional hair and makeup. Have them come to you or meet them at my studio location to make the session even more elevated!
- Your final artwork options are the best part! Choose from custom designed album offerings, beautifully framed prints, matted print keepsake boxes and more.

Within 2 weeks from your session, your edited gallery will be ready to view. I offer in studio gallery reveals to view your images on full screen and take in the entire beauty of your session. This allows you to touch and feel the products such as albums, frames, treasure boxes, etc. and we can design wall galleries and albums with your favorite images. Families love coming in to see their image reveal and pick out their favorite products with my assistance. If an in-studio reveal is not preferred, I also offer Skype gallery reveals as well as online gallery reveals.

04: The editing process
If you're in studio you can browse through the studio wardrobe, choosing clothing and items to include in your session. You relax and enjoy the process while you love on your family and I make magic happen behind the scenes!
03: Your photo session
Once your session retainer is paid your session date and time are reserved. You will receive an online product guide to browse in the convenience of your home, which details out all of my beautiful fine art items to explore. A week before we will confirm the exact time and location to meet!

Many clients love to capture everything over baby's first year. Popular choices are maternity, newborn, 6 month, and 1 year milestones.
* digital images and art products are not included in the baby plan collective fee, and are sold separately at each gallery reveal.
