This totally charming and adorable one year old absolutely stole my heart for his session. He had some of the cutest little expressions I’ve ever seen on a child, flashing me the sweetest smiles and little smirks, and he had the most chill and happy personality. We met up on a hot Spring morning and there were some gnats bothering us, and still baby M just hung out like there was nothing bugging him, and he was as happy as a clam. The field in Frederick, Maryland that we photographed at was particularly beautiful this Spring since it had a full buttercup bloom going on while we were there. A puppy, a baby boy and a buttercup field is so quintessentially childhood to me! His parents (and a set of awesome grandparents!) were there to hang out as well, and they were all so lovely and amazing. Best yet was his best friend – their family dog, who also was perfect for his modeling debut. Together they make up the cutest pair of best buds ever!
The first year is full of milestones and celebrations, and I love documenting this fleeting stage in a child’s life for the family to always look back at and admire. This family is so sweet and beautiful, it was such an honor photographing this amazing milestone for him! Enjoy these sneak peeks of this beautiful baby boy!
