This gorgeous summer maternity session was absolutely incredible. These two moms were anxiously awaiting the birth of their first baby, and so in love and happy together. We had beautiful golden hour sun with warm early summer weather and beautiful grounds on the historic Maryland Glenview mansion for the location. Both mamas-to-be were stunning, and so excited to meet their baby (a surprise gender!) in a few weeks. I loved getting to know them this evening, and chatting with them about their plans for the future together with a new baby. These two are members of my bellies and babies plan, so I was super excited to meet their baby in a few weeks and photograph their newborn photos as well. I love to do a mix of posed and unposed images for maternity sessions, as most people love a combination of both. When I talked to them during their consultation about what they’d like to wear, and what vibe they wanted for the session, they mentioned being more tee-shirt and jeans kind of people, which worked perfectly for this summer night. I did suggest they do hair and makeup since it always looks so great in photos, and they did a perfect job at that! I loved photographing this beautiful couple for their maternity session and loved every single image we took!
