It’s a rare treat when I get to photograph someone ON their actual birthday, but that is exactly what I got to do with this love bug, as we did his first birthday session on his real first birthday! I love photographing babies throughout their first year in Baby Plan plans, since you can watch them grow so much. This sweet baby boy I began photographing as a tiny newborn, then again for his six month session, and now again for his first year cake smash session. I have loved getting to know this beautiful family and watching sweet baby G become such a funny, adorable, gorgeous one year old! For his cake smash session his parents wanted to do a mix of winter outdoor photos, as well as a cake smash studio portion. It turned out to be a great mix of both – my favorite for winter babies! I always suggest parents bring a couple of outfits – one being a classic outfit for the cake smash, to keep the focus on their sweet baby face, and then some other fun ones. He was a bit unsure of the cake at first but once his mamas helped him taste it he was hooked! I loved seeing this family again and am excited to share his sneak peeks with you all! Enjoy!
