IT’S FINALLY SPRING!!!!! I know I speak for everyone in the Washington DC metro area when I say thankfully it’s here! This Winter seemed to stretch on forever and scheduling these cherry blossom sessions was complicating! We had to battle rain, snow, wind, freezing temperatures, flowers that refused to bloom, etc. But like all seasons, once it finally arrived Spring ended up being glorious. The flowers were stunning and made the wait totally worthwhile. For this Spring cherry blossom session I met up with this beautiful family I hadnt seen since little G here was a newborn baby (this time last year). I loved seeing him as a 1 year old and watching the awe in his eyes over these special blooms.
The weeping cherry tree was gorgeous and added such a dreamy quality to their images, and I loved seeing them walk around the blooms and sit in the shade of the bigger cherry trees. I loved photographing this beautiful family and am excited to share their sneak peeks with you all! Enjoy!
