I have been photographing these beautiful siblings since this boy here was just a tiny baby, and big sister here was a toddler. They’ve grown every year leaps and bounds, and were SO tall and grown up when I saw them this Summer! They have always had the best sibling bond ever, with lots of laughter, sweet hugs, and great genuine smiles. Each time I’ve photographed them we’ve tried to capture their fun personalities in a new location, and this year I think they found perfection in this beautiful Frederick lavender field.
It has been a dream of mine to photograph at the gorgeous lavender fields in Frederick, Maryland at Springfield Manor for a while now, and it was a perfect summer sunset there! The lavender field was in full bloom, which made for a perfect summer evening with these beautiful siblings. I loved their outfits, and they loved smelling the flowers, seeing the cool bees flying around pollinating, and running through the meadow and vineyard nearby. These two are so genuinely happy and lovely and adorable – I loved seeing them in such a beautiful space together.
