I am totally obsessed with this year’s cotton field family travel photo session with this incredible group! This beautiful family is no stranger to this blog, as I’ve been photographing them for over 7 years! I first met them when their youngest daughter was still in her mama’s belly and each year has gotten better and better. When they moved to North Carolina a few years ago I started offering travel sessions – a full session from me at your location of choice no matter where! They have chosen historic downtown New Bern, North Carolina, Emerald Isle beach in North Carolina, and then this year they chose a gorgeous cotton field next to their home. Each year they pick out the best outfits and are so happy and full of love for eachother – which makes my job capturing their happiness so easy.
Mom and dad are totally in love, and it radiates from them in warmth and joy. Their daughters are incredibly beautiful inside and out, and are just the brightest rays of sunshine. This warm fall evening was a perfect backdrop for their memories this year, and I loved being out in nature in the fields. These cotton fields are so beautiful in the sunset, and the girls loved touching the cotton and learning about how their clothes are made of the same materials. Every year I submit images from their sessions into international awards like the Shoot and Share contest, and each year (at least) one of their images make it to the finalists. I am sure this year will be no different with this amazing family in front of the images!
