One of my favorite things to do in the entire world is travel the globe with my family and photograph my kids in different places that we travel to together. This year our big international trip was to Europe where we visited Spain, and it was absolutely incredible. We started in Barcelona, then made our way over to the island of Majorca, and ended up in Southern Spain visiting Sevilla and Jerez. This trip was the perfect combination of culture, relaxation, art and food. The kids learned some Spanish, tried tiny clams and paella, watched Andalusian horses dance, and got to see the light reflect through the incredible colorful windows in La Sagrada Familia. What an incredible trip to witness with my family!
I brought my camera and wanted to capture the old world vibe of the Barcelona streets in my images, so I photographed my kids along our quiet street one morning. The one good thing about the long flight and the jet lag is that sunrises there are super easy to wake up for, so I made the most of it one day by photographing my own kids! I love being able to take my love for photography around the world and offer travel photo sessions to families as they go on vacation, or move to new places.
