This gorgeous family has had so many beautiful sessions with me over the past few years but this one took the cake! We met up in downtown Washington DC to explore the stunning DC monuments from the Library of Congress, the Lincoln Memorial, and the World War II memorial to document their anniversary together. The Covid-19 pandemic ruined their plans to celebrate their anniversary in Europe, so they figured what better than to celebrate it here at home in Washington DC with their girls. This amazing dad is a military member as well, so I loved photographing them in both their traditional Indian formal clothing and then doing an outfit change and wearing their military dress uniform (and pretty dresses to match). We wandered around the concrete columns and beautiful historic monuments, watching the girls explore and learn about our nation’s history and Capital. This session turned out so beautiful and special to me, and I can’t wait to share these sneak peeks!
