Well Spring around here has become a huge joke – since we basically go straight from Winter right into Summer. I love Spring and it’s definitely up there as one of my favorite seasons, so it’s sad to me when we dont get to have a few weeks of mild temps and flowers and birds and green grass (before 88 degree weather hits and everyone runs for air conditioning). This year we had a super late snow – in late March! I was waiting to take cherry blossom photos for so many families and instead we had to push it back to late April and wait for the blooms to appear. In the meantime though, not one to miss a chance at photographing a cool weather opportunity, I had my sweet girl head outside for some snow photos. She loves being my little muse, and is such a good model for me when I come up with an idea. She looks gorgeous in red, and this little coat will always make me think of her from this winter as she wore it almost every day. She referred to the ‘fur’ around the neckline as “her coat with Max on the top” (Max is our cat…who does remarkably resemble this fur.) Enjoy these sneak peeks of my amazing daughter and the unseasonably cold weather we had late into Spring this year!
