One of my favorite weeks of the year is when I do something photography related away from home – typically in the form of a conference, workshop, or brainstorming session with other photographer friends. This year I got to basically combine all three, at an amazing 4 day long mastermind retreat in Palm Beach, Florida and it was so refreshing. Seeing my old photographer friends in person face to face is always one of my favorite weekends of the year, and I love these people so much. Photography can be a lonely journey sometimes, since I work solo and do not have traditional coworkers or employees to spend time with. These ladies help motivate me, inspire me, and keep me on track when I start to go haywire.
We did our traditional evening of headshot swapping but this evening we met up on the beach in Jupiter Florida, and we had such a fun time wandering around on the sand rock outcroppings, stepping into the waves, and sinking our toes in the sand.
