Everyone has a bestie from childhood – and one of mine is this lovely local Frederick, Maryland raised lady, Elizabeth Whidbee! As evidence shows in the below image of us circa 1990, we were epically dressed, had impeccable bangs, and clearly were soul sisters from the start. She has gone on to have two amazing kids, and a wonderful husband Ty. Tragically, Ty suffered an intracranial hemorrhage this past August, resulting in devastating brain injuries and leaving their family life in crisis recovery mode. This family is the best of the best – and have always been there to help others – so this is our opportunity to give back to them to aide in Ty’s recovery process.
In honor of my childhood best friend – we’re putting on some amazing best friend mini sessions!!! These 5 minute mini sessions include your choice of 1 digital image file, use of my studio wardrobe for clothing, and can be personally styled as well. These can be formal or casual, serious or fun, and are the perfect chance to celebrate whoever you love as your bestie! Be it you and your partner, your child and their bestie, you and your mom, a grandfather and their grandchild, your child and their dog, or whoever is deserving of having their gorgeous photos taken – let’s make some memories and celebrate friendship! All session proceeds will go to Elizabeth and Ty Whidbee to help with Ty’s recovery expenses – and you can read more and donate directly to their gofundme account here!
These beautiful mini sessions will be held (by appointment only) in my downtown Frederick, Maryland studio on 263 West Patrick Street on Saturday, March 21st from 9am – 1pm. Sessions are available to be booked and reserved below! They will be done against this classic grey backdrop, where the sweet relationship between friends can stand out and shine.
Amazing clothes are available for women and boys and girls to wear, and a personalized styling service is available to help with other outfit choices as well. Bring your favorite accessories (or borrow some of mine) to add some fun props, or choose something meaningful like their favorite sports ball and jersey or grandma’s vintage scarf or jewelry to dress up with. The options are endless and will be so much fun!
