I have absolutely loved photographing beautiful lifestyle newborn sessions in Washington DC family’s homes – with this year spending time with so many gorgeous families and homes! I love how exciting and amazing it can be as a photographer, going into a home you’ve never been to and getting to be creative with their decor and their house, while capturing their family with their brand new baby. I love checking out the best areas of beautiful light, and seeing how the rooms are so carefully decorated to welcome these precious babies into their homes. The plus side as well is having everyone comfortable and cozy in their own home so that older siblings are happy and adjusted.
This amazingly beautiful family had a beautiful Washington DC home, with the cutest proud big brothers doting over their new baby sister. The light was so dreamy and gorgeous in there, and fit this beautiful baby perfectly. They also had some gorgeous elements to their home that we incorporated, from a super cool window seat to their beautiful exposed brick bedroom. The big brothers here were a dream to photograph and they were so proud of their new baby sister. They were a great age to be helpful and adorable at once, and I loved photographing their beautiful smiles. Baby C had the sweetest personality, cutest little face, and sweet scrumptious cheeks. She was so chill and happy the whole time. She was a total dream baby – and was so sweet and happy for the whole session and loved being held and cuddled. I loved meeting this incredible family and love all their sneak peeks of their beautiful lifestyle newborn session!
