My bright and airystudio is one of my absolute favorite places to photograph milestone sitter baby sessions in the Washington DC area. So many of my amazing metro DC families come out to Frederick Maryland for their milestone baby sessions because they can leave behind all the craziness of their home, and step into a peaceful and decorated space where their kids can play and be themselves. The weather is always beautiful indoors as well – which is awesome in our area since rain and weather can play a huge role in sessions. I love my studio for the airy tall ceilings, beautiful white plaster vintage walls and linens, and the gorgeous antique chandeliers and pocket doors and windows. It made the perfect background for this beautiful baby’s sitter session images, and I love every photo we captured in her bright clothing. Big brother popped in some of their images which made for some of my favorites, as you can tell they have a super special relationship together. I first photographed this beautiful baby for her newborn session, and I couldn’t believe how big she had grown between the two sessions. I love milestone baby sessions since it lets me see these adorable babies over their first year, and I get to photograph how they change and grow. Another favorite element of baby milestone sessions is that they get to do several outfit changes, which this sweet baby girl loved to do! Her mama brought the cutest outfit combinations and I loved helping her pick out some coordinated pieces that brought the whole session together. I couldn’t decide if I liked the all white outfit, the pale blue one, or the lilly pulitzer dress the best – too hard to pick!
