Motherhood sessions are always a favorite of mine! My studio is one of my favorite places to photograph classic and neutral milestone and motherhood photo sessions for families here in the Washington DC metro area! I love the light the windows get all day long, and the white furniture and white walls lend to an airy and modern vibe. My studio wardrobe was perfect for this session as this gorgeous mama picked out this gorgeous skirt, and her sweet baby boy wore a handmade outfit his great grandmother made for his mama! Amazing when you can mix vintage and modern together and create beautiful heirloom portraits!
Motherhood sessions always are near and dear to my heart, as it gives moms a chance to be in front of the camera for a change, get all dolled up and get to feel beautiful and loved. This beautiful mama did this session with her baby boy who had just turned 1, for just some portraits of the two of them to document this fun and sweet time in their lives together as mother and son.
