This past Mother’s Day was extra special as I photographed this beautiful family celebrating mom in honor of their mother. I was contacted by her daughter who said that her brother and herself were going to travel in to visit with their mom in May and wanted to photograph her in her beautiful home in the mountains of Frederick County, and include her beloved dogs too. We had the most beautiful spring day and her garden was blooming with azaleas and all sorts of gorgeous floral blooms. Visiting with them was such a joyous event, and there was so much love to photograph all around. From the puppies who kept giving everyone kisses, to the love you can obviously see from her two kids to her, it was just the best day. At the end this sweet mom offered me a cup of tea and fresh lilac blooms from her garden, which kept my house smelling amazing for days. This was such a beautiful session celebrating mom and everything that motherhood is and forever will be. Enjoy these few sneak peeks of this amazing family and their beautiful mother!
