Golden light is my absolute favorite type of light for a family session! This amazing family moved into our neighborhood a few years ago, bringing with them two boys my kids instantly connected with, and then they added the most precious baby girl this year! I got to know them even better over this past year as this amazing mama (RIGHT after having her baby girl) volunteered to head coach the boys U10 baseball team! I can’t imagine doing that at all, let alone right after having a baby, but she rocked it every day. Dad was on baby duty which was so cute to watch, and it was a big job since most of our practices were late in the evenings and baby’s usually don’t do too great at night! This sweetheart though was so great and she just would look around, cuddle in dad’s carrier, and peek over the top at everyone. Such a sweet family!
For this family’s session we kept the location near her home at one of my favorite nature spots, to highlight the golden hour light that falls in the evening. I loved their outfits of pale pink, blue and white, and they looked like a total model family. The kids had a blast playing and running around, and their favorite moments were cuddling with their beautiful little sister. Even though the session was later in the evening, baby girl here rocked it and was full of peace and smiles for us.
